People have the thoughts that's like "Oh London! Red buses, yellow cab, London Bridge and Big Ben!". Well, here are some facts I found about London that we don't know and I found some of them pretty interesting~
LONDON
Big Ben
I do not know that London's big ben is not the clock tower but the bell inside! I often see it in the storybook that I read and also in internet as well as news but there is nothing about it! except you know maybe the documentary video that we often skipped.
Black Cab
Black Cab in in London? I guess my impression of London are red Double-Decker buses which is what I had seen during my younger days as a snack packaging as below:
Anyway I do not know that Black Cab actually required drivers to take test and required to memory so many places! I guess good services start with proper knowledge!
Cereal Cafe
I have not seen any of this in Malaysia because to us breakfast is with Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai or DimSum. London have cereal cafe and I wanted to have a peek of what is it like to taste different kind of cereal all around the world.
Here are some sneak peeks I took from a website:
Cereal Killer Cafe
MANCHESTER
Manchester in people impression is not other than football- Manchester United and that's basically all of it! So I found some facts about Manchester and it is quite amusing too~
Marks and Spencer
Marks and Spencer was first opened in Manchester! My dad used to buy clothes there at KLCC, Malaysia outlet.
This is Marks and Spencer in 1907
and This is the Marks and Spencer now.
Mummy Studies
Manchester is actually the only place on earth to learn ancient Egyptian mummies and have a "Mummy Studies" in degree at University of Manchester!
Who knows that!
This is the professor in Mummy Studies!
Rolls-Royce Luxury Car
Rolls-Royce is actually created by Frederick Royce and Charles Rolls in Manchester's Midland Hotel.
Here are some classic car of Rolls-Royce:
